Pare river

​The Pare River is a significant waterway in Arunachal Pradesh, India, flowing through the Papum Pare district. Originating in the Eastern Himalayan foothills, it traverses the district before joining the Subansiri River, a major tributary of the Brahmaputra.​

The river hosts the Pare Hydroelectric Plant, a run-of-the-river project commissioned in 2018. Located in the Toru Circle of Papum Pare district, the plant has a capacity of 110 MW and is operated by the North Eastern Electric Power Corporation Limited (NEEPCO).
